I am a mother of three (now adult) children and a wife. For the last twelve years I have had the privilege of working as a Lay Pastor. Part of my official training included a Grief Counselling Course conducted by St Francis Hospice in Port Elizabeth. I recently completed my Diploma in Professional Grief and Bereavement Counselling.
Over the years, helping others deal with loss and grief has become my focus, strength and salvation. My heart lies in walking with people as they travel along the ever-changing road of life. When I meet people along the way who want to stop and celebrate, I will join them in joy. If I meet someone who needs to get to the other side of a river or to climb a mountain, I will go with them. I see myself not as a life-long friend, but as a friend for part of the journey.
